If your home burned down tonight, could you prove what you owned? Servata makes that proof in an afternoon. Point your camera at an item — it's auto-tagged on your iPhone — and your inventory builds toward one calm document an insurer will accept. No account, no cloud, no subscription. Your record never leaves your phone, and it's yours to export any time.

Fast, on-device capture

Apple's Vision framework reads the item's category and any visible serial number right on your iPhone — no upload.

Reads the receipt

Snap a receipt and Servata reads the total, filling in the replacement cost. Add a name and a note in seconds — it's your record, in your words.

The ledger, by room

Items group by room or category with a running total, so the value of what you own is always one glance away.

The export is the hero

A cover page plus one clean row per item — a PDF that looks like a document an adjuster will accept, and a CSV for your records.

How it works

  1. Capture. Photograph an item or pick from your library. The photo stays attached to the item, so the proof never gets separated from the record.
  2. Confirm. Servata pre-fills the category and any serial number it reads off the photo, and the price off a receipt. You add the name and a description — everything is editable in a second, never authoritative.
  3. Organize. Pick a room for each item and they group by it, with a running total. Search, group by category, swipe to delete (with a 30-day Recently Deleted safety net so you can never lose your record by accident).
  4. Export. Hand a clean CSV to your insurer or an adjuster-ready PDF for your records. Both are generated on-device — readable without this app, forever.

Pricing

One-time payment, no subscription. Capturing, organizing and backing up your inventory are free forever — so your record is never locked behind a paywall. Your first 25 items export as a real PDF and CSV you keep, for free. The one-time unlock removes that limit, for however large your home turns out to be.

Pay once. Not every month. Not held hostage — the entire reason Servata exists is that home-inventory apps shouldn't cost a subscription or strand your data when a service shuts down.

Privacy you can audit

Servata does not collect any data. The privacy nutrition label on the App Store will read "Data Not Collected" — the only honest answer. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters that phone home, and no network code outside StoreKit (which Apple handles directly for the one-time purchase). Your items — and the photos of them — live only on your device and in your own backups. See the privacy policy for specifics.

Servata — kept.

Servata (ser‑VAH‑ta) is Latin for kept, preserved, safeguarded — from servāre, "to keep, guard, watch over." The same root runs through con‑serve, pre‑serve, and ob‑serve — fitting, because the app does both: it observes what you own, and preserves the record.

In Roman homes, the most valued things were entrusted to the family's keeping — watched over, written down, passed on. Servata is that instinct in your pocket: photograph what matters, and a calm, insurance-ready record builds itself, entirely on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is rented. Pay once, and the document is yours to keep — readable forever, with or without the app.
