Servata

Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-06-20

Servata is a home-inventory app for iPhone, sold through the App Store. By using it you agree to these terms. They're short because the app is simple and runs entirely on your device.

The app

Servata lets you photograph your belongings, organize them into an inventory, and export an insurance-ready PDF and CSV. The app runs on-device; there is no account and no server operated by us.

Purchase

The app is free to use. A one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ($14.99) unlocks the PDF and CSV export. Payment is handled by Apple through StoreKit. The unlock applies to your Apple ID and can be restored on your devices via Restore Purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under the standard App Store refund process.

Your content

Your photos and inventory records are yours. They are stored on your device; we never receive them. You are responsible for backing up your data (the in-app Backup, or iCloud). Deleting the app deletes its local data.

Not professional advice

Servata helps you document what you own, but it does not provide insurance, legal, or financial advice, and it does not guarantee that any document it produces will be accepted by a particular insurer or adjuster. Confirm your coverage and documentation requirements with your insurer.

Warranty & liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss of data or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Keep your own backups.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
